Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Peer Recovery Support Specialist to join our community outreach team. In this role, you will draw on your personal recovery experience to support individuals in early recovery, connecting them with resources and providing ongoing encouragement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one peer support to individuals in recovery
  • Facilitate weekly recovery support groups
  • Assist clients in developing individualized recovery plans
  • Connect clients with community resources (housing, employment, healthcare)
  • Maintain accurate case notes and documentation
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
  • Conduct outreach at community events and partner organizations

Requirements

Active Peer Recovery Support Specialist certification (CPRS or equivalent). Minimum 2 years in personal recovery. Valid drivers license. Lived experience with substance use recovery required.
